In 2020, along with their partner, Cynthia Zhu, they founded the company Cycymymy; a digital experience design firm built on the fundamentals of joining beauty and narrative to drive next-level impactful moments.

Through creative leadership, Myles has strengths in visual design, motion, spatial, digital, in-house, or vendor-collaborative, seeing projects through to completion based on a cohesive creative process. By building teams based on non-hierarchical principles of focusing on what the collective whole can bring to the table, they bring the best ideas to top the drive projects from bid to install.

Myles is a Creative Director & Integrator

Currently serving as Managing Director and Creative Director at Potion (now part of Hyperquake), as well as Co-Founder and Creative Director of Cycymymy, they bridge the gap between storytelling through interactive design in both physical and digital spaces. They build cohesive departments across design and technology disciplines and lead successful projects.

Myles has worked with and at numerous experiential and exhibit design firms, such as Local Projects, where they led a small team of motion designers and animators by guiding creative workflows, as well as driving both the creative and production of numerous projects. Having worked across such a broad range of production-focused industries, they are now seeking to continue their career in the realm of interactive experiences and physical design.

Their early background was mainly in motion design, technical direction, and visual effects, but they have since moved into experiential design. They believe a single profound moment can influence a person’s life, so they challenge themselves and other designers to grow with people and create those moments in spaces. They lead teams, scope projects, build environments, animate smoothly, write words, code poorly, and—more often than they would like—break things.

Meanwhile, they are focusing their efforts on pursuing the transposition of knowledge of design and motion into the realtime rendering realm, within gaming engines like Unreal and Unity 3D. By leveraging rapid prototyping and live audio-visual experience utilizing Touchdesigner, they have been able to build that knowledge into engines that are much more visually capable of demonstrating incredible live visual performance, and truly immersive realtime interactive prototypes.
